The idol of scorned girls everywhere Kelis is back in 2014 with her sixth studio album to be released on UK stalwart Ninja Tune, best known for spearheading left-field electronica in the ’90s and early 2000s.

Nas’ ex last released an album in 2010 called Flesh Tone, experimenting with EDM way before anyone started using that superfluous acronym. Food will be produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, after the pair shared their ‘Jerk Ribs’ single in April, which has now since disappeared off the internet.
